The crawling toddler and the dog

It wasn't too long ago that I got to start playing with that baby/toddler on the floor. She just learned to walk not long ago, so it wasn't ok for me to be around her yet, at least without mom and dad hanging over me the whole time. Babies are interesting to me, but I want to put my paws on them for pets.. they don't like that I guess.

Hanging out with the toddler can be such a blast. She leaves all these little puff treats all over the house for me, isn't that nice? Momma doesn't like it, but I sure do.

We like a lot of the same kind of toys.. Balls, squeaky things and gummy chew toys. Yum. Apparently, that toddler likes my toys, and I like hers. I think this is great. We share chew toys. Momma screams and freaks out and says something about boiling and antiseptic and dog germs... I didn't know toddlers had dog germs. Don't worry momma, that baby won't get me sick!

I like kisses with that baby too. She smells good, and I am very gentle with her.

I like to travel with my family. We stay in a nice hotel in Sedona sometimes, and I get to sleep in a nice room with wooden floors next to mom and dad. They get to eat a nice breakfast and then they are really happy too.

I am a really mellow dog. Since I am a mixed breed, there is really no telling exactly what I am, but the theory is the basset and german shepard mix. This has been stated by more than a few vets and various people I meet.

When I first came home, mom and dad had 3 cats. They were kind of old and grumpy, but I liked to play with them, even if they didn't always like to play with me.
